Financial transparency
The Foundation has completed its first financial year ending 31 December 2024. In accordance with the ANBI requirements and the FIN Code of Good Governance, the folowing documents are available:
Our governance model is based on a two-tier principle, with an executive board and a supervisory Board. This allows us to be transparent and professional.
The management is the responsibility of the executive board. The executive board consists of a director assisted by two board members for the day-to-day running of the Foundation. The executive board is responsible for managing the foundation, which includes setting and achieving its objectives, developing its strategy, and formulating its policies.
The supervisory board approves and oversees the policies of the executive board and the Foundation's general affairs. The founders of the Van Leeuwen Education Foundation, the Rietberg family and Royal Van Leeuwen, are represented on the supervisory board. The supervisory board is led by an independent chair.
